Temple Recommend...
I guess it's pretty self-explanatory :)
Unfortunately, once it was official, the Temple phone had already shut down for the night. So I guess I'm calling tomorrow morning.

Lieu's Wedding
Okay, so my cousin Lieu got married this past weekend, so here are the highlighted photos of me and all of my cousins!
Me and Mom
Me, Jenny and Gillian
Me, Baby Jamie and Anne Marie
Me, Haley and Erin
Me and Jamie, the most beautiful little girl in the world!
Anne Marie, Lieu and George
Kathleen, Jodie and Josh, and Michael
Ron and Kathleen
Lieu and Mom
Ian, Mom, Tyler and Me
Mom and Jose
Lieu and Damian
Christopher and Mom
It was great to finally meet Baby Jamie, she is my Mom's brother George's daughter with Anne Marie. It was also great to meet Haley, my cousin Jodie and her husband Josh's little girl.
It's hard to believe I saw everyone six months ago when Bubby died, but this was definitely a more cheerful occasion.
Max and Kate came as well, but Max was under the weather and just wasn't up for socializing :(
When it was time to catch the bouquet, one of Lieu's bridesmaids totally popped me one in order to get it. I would've let her have it, she didn't need to punch me!
With the exception of the rain (meaning Bubby made and appearance through the elements), it was a perfectly wonderful evening. Congrats to Lieu and Harry!

1st Passport
Today was a big day for 1sts, I applied for my 1st passport! I'd been putting it off for awhile now, but a very awesome/sexy guy has been on my case to get one for about a month now to get one.
So this morning, I printed the application, grabbed my birthday certificate, and made an appointment at the post office on 2100 S. My appointment was at 1:30, and come 1:45 I was finished! My passport will arrive shortly, and then I can plan my European adventure!

Mother's Day Adventures
In honor of Mother's Day, Mom wanted to go visit the Dunn kids, so we went with the Dunn family on a hike.

I thought it was cool that the tree looked like the block U

Someone lost their shoes!
Climbing the rock wall
She made it to the top by herself
Kate was so pooped out that she fell asleep on Donald's head
See?
After our hike, Mom and I went to the graveyard to visit Bubby. On our hike, we gathered stones to paint to put on her grave in honor of Mother's Day/
Max helped me paint all of our initials and names on the rocks. From left to right: Lindsey, O for Olivia the dog, Max, DKD for Donald, Kate, ND for Nichole, Ian, CJ for Mom, and TRL for Tyler.
There was a patch of clovers growing beneath the headstone, it must be a sign of luck!
Then a deer came down to scavenge for food.
She just happened to stop in front of another headstone that just happened to also say DUNN
She wasn't alone.
Happy Mother's Day Mommy!

This last week
Okay, so last Sunday, Mom and I went to the car wash. Here is my perspective of her washing the car:
Then, on Tuesday, Shirley and her kids came to visit me at the store and run through the fountain, so I tracked them down after my day was over.

Kaela and I
I love Kendal's expression!

Spa Day
Work hasn't necessarily been kicking my butt lately, but I've had a few emotional meltdowns in the last month or so that left me in dire need of a day of pampering.
I looked up the spa menu for Skinworks (a really neat esthetics school on 2100 South) and after a few hours of deliberating, I decided to do a body contour wrap. Mere minutes before I called to make the appointment, I realized just what nasty-looking shape my feet were in, therefore I booked the wrap and a hot stone pedicure.
So, I arrived this morning, checked in with my awesome technician, Tessa, and had quite the experience! First up was the pedicure. I'd never had a hot stone pedicure before, but it was only $5 more than the regular pedicure so I figured it was worth the splurge. It was :)
On to the body wrap; it was such a crazy experience (it would have been awkward if Tessa and I hadn't already bonded during the pedicure). First, you strip down to your skivvys, and they rub you with an exfoliant. Then they slather you with the contour cream before they completely wrap you in plastic wrap. Let me tell you, it is not very easy to lay down from a standing position when you cannot bend your arms or legs, LOL.
Tessa was great though, she gave me a facial during the wrap so I wouldn't have to lay on the table doing nothing for 45min. Needless to say, she and I got along great, and I definitely think I will work with her again later this summer when it's time for another spa day.

Just Another Day
So today was just another day. I worked all day before meeting up with Natalie to celebrate her graduation. Although, I was lucky enough to leave work a bit early and catch up with Bryce for awhile. When I met up with Natalie, I ran into Elise! Then, Nat and I went up to the H. House and spent some quality time with some quality people.
This is the part where my mind starts playing "What if..." I do not enjoy when my mind does this, it usually leads to a massive panic attack and trouble sleeping. I guess it brings up emotional issues, and I just don't the time to express my true feelings. I think that may be my problem. I'm not honest with myself, most of the time I will say what people need to hear from me. Here is a tidbit of the conversation my brain started running with for a solid 15 minutes tonight:
Q: What if something was supposed to work out a certain way?
A: Then it would have already happened.
Q: What if I missed my chance?
A: When one door closes, another one opens.
Q: Do these thoughts means something other than being a simple fabrication of my current thought process?
A: No, this is the part of being a girl that gets you in trouble, you're over-analyzing.
Q: Does it mean something?
A: How badly do you want it to mean something?
Yeah, it was just another day. I need to either talk more to avoid an emotional build-up, or simply stop talking in general.
