I'm a young professional living in Salt Lake City, Utah working in public education.
I earned a BS in Communication from the University of Utah, and an MA in Community Leadership from Westminster College. Somewhere down the line I just might pursue a PhD in Education.
I started this blog in 2011 just before I graduated college. I was getting ready to intern in Washington DC for a few months, and I wanted to maintain the connection between my new life and my life back home. Originally it was supposed to serve as a weekly update to my family and neighborhood friends, noting my East Coast adventures and life in the busy world of politics.
Since then, my blog has evolved into a highlight reel of all my adventures regarding my family members, work, school projects, and my relationships (both friendly and romantic).
This blog is not about being married, motherhood, weight-loss, critiquing anything for the sole purpose of influences others, or complaining on the inter-webs. This blog is merely a reflection of my observations about the world and the life I'm living, and the obstacles and joy I encounter along the way.
Life is a whirlwind, but I blog not only to keep track of it, but also to connect with others who might be having the same experiences. We are all more alike than we appear at first glance.
In summary: Life's to short not to write about!
