This past Sunday was definitely a surprise. I was released as the Primary Secretary and called to be the Activity Days Assistant (again!). It was bittersweet though. For the last three months, I'd been thinking about asking to be released, I was definitely stuck in a rut. I'd mentioned to Erica (my prez) that I wanted to be released because I was considering attending a Singles Ward.
Anyway, after serving as Secretary for 13 months, it will be a refreshing change to attend Relief Society and Young Single Adults. I knew I'd been 'hiding out' in Primary, so this will be a good change for me this year.
